What is the solubility of the Fluorescein-dox conjugate?
This product is readily soluble in a mixed solvent of DMSO/water. We generally use 2:1 DMSO:water (v/v) and dissolve the product to 0.5-1 mg/mL.
What is the thermostability of the product and how fast does the degradation process start after reaching higher temperatures? Do I need to worry about the product if the cold pack is no longer cold when we receive the compound?
This compound is very stable as lyophilized solid at room temperature (RT). We have not determined the stabilities of this compound at RT, but it was prepared and purified at RT. We have not seen any decomposition or noticed any stability issues over the past if stored in the dark. The compound can be shipped at RT; however, we use a cold pack primarily to prevent a temperature spike during transportation and do not expect the compound to be cold with the current package configuration.
