    A small molecule is a low molecular weight (MW) organic compound, generally less than 900 Da. CellMosaic designs personalized conjugation kits (PerKit™) for small molecule modification and conjugation based on the functional groups. The typical functional groups that PerKit™ is tailored to are carboxylic acid (-COOH), amine (-NH2), alcohol (-OH), aldehyde or ketone (-C=O), and thiol (-SH).
