CellMosaic’s maleimide activated KLH (Hemocyanin from Megathura crenulata) HL is designed for direct conjugation of KLH with proteins, peptides, or other ligands containing free sulfhydryl groups for use in immunization. This product consists of a highly loaded KLH that has been modified with EMCS (N-(ε-maleimidocaproyloxy) succinimide ester) to attach 40−80 maleimide groups per KLH molecule.
This product replaces previously developed maleimide activated KLH HL (Part No: CM52106) and incorporates a slightly longer linker that is more suitable for immunization and more stable for labeling reactions.
Application
- Suitable for loading large number of Cys peptides and other hydrophilic thiol antigens onto KLH for immunization/antibody production.
