AqT® Biotin Goat Anti-Human IgG is a biotinylated polyclonal secondary antibody specific for the F(ab′)₂ region of human IgG. The antibody is cross-adsorbed to minimize cross-reactivity with bovine, horse, and mouse serum proteins.
The product is site-specifically biotinylated at reduced Fc-region disulfide bonds using CellMosaic’s proprietary super-hydrophilic AqT® linker. By positioning biotin away from the antigen-binding regions, this controlled labeling approach is designed to help preserve antibody-binding activity while providing consistent and accessible biotin placement.
Each antibody contains an average of 3–5 biotin molecules, supporting strong streptavidin-mediated signal amplification and sensitive, reproducible detection across a variety of immunoassay applications.

Characterization of AqT® Goat Anti-Human IgG, F(ab')2 Specific, Cross-Adsorbed by HPLC
Lot Number: S359.S9.0811F (Biotin Loading: 4.1 by Biotin Assay)
Figure 1. Overlay SEC-HPLC profiles of F(ab′)₂-specific goat anti-human IgG before labeling (blue trace; ~3% aggregation, indicated by the peak at 9.977 minutes) and after AqT® biotin labeling (red trace). The biotinylated antibody (Lot No. S359.S9.0811F; DOL: 4.1) demonstrated ≥99% monomeric purity in PBS, with no detectable aggregate peak.

Note: SEC separates the conjugates by apparent MW or size in aqueous solution. In general, higher-MW species elute earlier. SEC is also a useful tool for assessing the level of aggregation in a biopolymer. By comparing the SEC profiles of an unlabeled protein and labeled protein, you can estimate the extent of aggregation in the labeled protein.
