Trastuzumab is a humanized IgG1κ monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to the extracellular domain of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2/ErbB2). Trastuzumab is the active antibody in Herceptin® and forms the antibody component of HER2-targeted antibody drug conjugates such as ado-trastuzumab emtansine and trastuzumab deruxtecan.
This research-use-only product is intended for use as a quantitative or qualitative control material in assays such as ELISA, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunoprecipitation (IP), and Western blotting (WB). It may also be used to investigate trastuzumab-related biological mechanisms, subject to assay-specific validation.
The product is supplied as 100 μg of lyophilized material in a microcentrifuge tube and requires reconstitution before use. For bulk quantities and custom packaging requirements, please contact us for pricing and availability.

Figure 1. SEC-HPLC profile of Trastuzumab anti-Her2 mAb Control showing ≥99% monomeric purity with no detectable aggregates.

Note: SEC separates the biopolymers by apparent MW or size in aqueous solution and is a very useful tool for assessing the level of aggregation in a biopolymer.
Figure 2. HIC-HPLC profile of Trastuzumab anti-Her2 mAb Control demonstrating a high degree of antibody homogeneity.

Note: HIC separates biopolymers based on hydrophobicity and is a useful tool for assessing the degree of heterogeneity in a biopolymer.
